Delivery
Auto-Fill:
Most customers prefer the freedom and reliability of the Auto-Fill delivery option. With this option Mountain Propane Service takes care of everything automatically. Your tank is checked regularly and filled when needed.
During the winter the tank is checked approximately every 4 to 6 weeks and the in summer approximately every 6 to 8 weeks.
Auto-Fill helps to reduce the emission of green house gasses because the truck is already in your neighborhood and doesn't have to make a special trip to fill a single tank. There are no additional fees associated with Auto-Fill. As always, you only pay for the gallons of gas delivered to you.
Auto-Fill helps keep your bill lower, frequent fills mean smaller bills!
Will-Call:
Some customers may prefer to be placed on Will-Call. As a Will-Call customer you choose to assume the responsibility of calling when you are ready for a delivery and would like to schedule an appointment. We do not check your gauge. You must be comfortable with the obligation to check your gauge and call at 20% or at any time you can wait up to 2 weeks for delivery in order to work your delivery into our regular schedule.
There are no additional fees for choosing Will Call. You will be charged the same prices as Auto-Fill customers, however it is important to keep propane in your tank. Please be aware of the following two things:
A Safety Check is required if a tank runs out of gas and an additional charge will apply.
If a tank drops below 20% and an expedited delivery is provided in order to prevent the tank from running out of propane, a fee is incurred due to the need for an off route delivery.
